If we can’t recover your data you are not charged.
It is a fact computer hard drives crash, files get accidentally deleted and accidents just happen. We’ve recovered book manuscripts, wedding pictures, family vacation videos, Word Documents, PDF’s, Excel Spreadsheets, email and more from crashed drives.
Whether on a desktop, laptop, external hard drive, USB thumb drive or floppy disk, data physically remains on the disk even after being “deleted” by the user or operating system. The recovery of this data is where we come in.
The process of recovering data shouldn’t cost thousands of dollars. Most recoveries can take hours if not days to complete however our fees only apply to the setup and recovery time. Our hourly rate will apply to the time needed to setup your recovery and time needed to sort through and save the results. Specific estimates will be given after the details of your case are reviewed.
PROCESS
The first step in the data recovery process is to submit the details of your case. Once we review your case details we will contact you to provide estimates if we can recover the data and how long it may take.
After we receive your hard drive we will begin the initial steps in the recovery process to determine what can and cannot be recovered. You will then be contacted and provided details about the proposed recovery. Payment is not required until you are satisfied with what can or cannot be recovered.
RECOVERY
Your data will be recovered and saved to a new drive. You may provide a 2nd drive for the data recovery or purchase one from us for cost. If a few critical files are needed ASAP we can email the files immediately upon recovery.
FEE STRUCTURE
Payment will be required before any recovered data is returned. As we mentioned above if we can’t recover your data you are not charged. A minimum of 1 hour will be charged on all recoveries with most jobs being completed within 1 – 4 hours. Specific estimates will be given after the details of your case are reviewed. Our current hourly rate is $50 per hour.
